School Held International Students and Teachers Badminton Competition

On April 27, an exciting Badminton Competition for International students and teachers was held by the School of International Cultural Exchange at the new gym, the west of Cheng guan campus. The aim of this competition was to improve the physique of teachers and students, and promote the communication between teachers and students.
86 teachers and students participated in this competition, including the staff from the School of International Cultural Exchange, international students, and the officers of the foreigner management service station. There were three different forms of competition, which were Men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. The whole competition was in an intense yet friendly atmosphere. In the course of the competition, teachers and students closely cooperated with each other. The police officers, teachers and students actively communicated with each other during the break of the competition, during which the friendship was largely enhanced.
After a day of fierce competition, the winners of the first, second and third prizes were finally confirmed. Zheng Hongliang, deputy secretary of the School of International Cultural Exchange College, together with three police officers, awarded prizes to the winners. Students said that through sports activities, they not only got exercised, but also met many new friends. This kind of activities enriched students’ spare time, and strengthened the communication between teachers and students. Students appreciated the school of international cultural exchange for its elaborate organization, and hoped that more activities like this would be organized in the future.
