2024年1月22日，我在甘肃省兰州市的一个社区中心教一群孩子和成年人英语。于我而言，这是一次格外珍贵的机会。在国际学生中心的支持下，本次教学活动由兰州大学与社区中心合作开展。刚得知有这一特别的机会能去社区教学，我立刻就被吸引，并毫不犹豫报名参与。和我一起参与这趟教育之旅的还有另一位教泰语的老师。

On the 22^nd of January 2024, I had the privilege to impart English language skills to a diverse group of young Chinese learners and adults at a community center in Gansu's Lanzhou. This teaching event was organized by Lanzhou University in partnership with the community center under the banner "International Students in Community". Upon hearing of this unique opportunity, my curiosity was immediately aroused and I seized the chance presented before me. Accompanying me on this educational journey was another student who taught Thai.

课程进展得很顺利，因为这些学生已经掌握了非常丰富的英语语法和词汇知识，这令我惊叹。课程结束后，活动组织者安排了师生问答环节，我们现场回答了学生提出的问题。此外，组织者还在活动期间拍摄了大量照片，记录了很多珍贵的片段，以供日后回忆。

Imparting knowledge proved not too arduous for me as these students already possessed an impressive grasp of English grammar and vocabulary. After our lesson was over, we were given the opportunity to answer questions from our students, which we did without hesitation. The organizers also took several photos during the event and recorded footage which serves as a reminder of this experience.

 

 

让我感触最深的是这次活动受到了各方的热烈欢迎。学生们表现出的热情使我感觉这次教学比以往任何时候都更满意！显而易见，尊师重道是渗透在中国人骨子里的优良传统，这也说明了为什么中国能成为一个令人惊叹的国家！

What resonated most deeply within me about this experience was how warmly it was received by all parties involved. The enthusiasm exhibited by these eager students made teaching them even more gratifying than it already had been! It became quite apparent that Chinese people hold great reverence for others - particularly teachers whom they esteem highly - thus underscoring one reason why China is such an awe-inspiring country indeed!
