School of International Cultural Exchange Organized Practical Activities of "Perceiving Gansu-Research Tour of Charming Tianshui"

From September 7th to 9th, School of International Cultural Exchange, in collaboration with Gansu International Cultural Exchange Association and relevant colleges and universities in the province, organized international students to visit Tianshui, a famous cultural city, to carry out a cultural exploration and experience activity of "Perceiving Gansu, Research tour of charming Tianshui", and to learn Gansu's long history and culture and the new development results of new age.
From Dadiwan Architectural Site to its Museum Theme Exhibition Area, from the origin of Fuxi Temple to the development of Zhouyi Culture, from the sculpture shape of Maijishan Grottoes to the sculpture art, to the traditional Chinese sculpture and lacquer art and production process, foreign students in China had a more direct impression of Chinese traditional culture through the concrete forms of sites, pottery, sculpture and architecture etc.Theygot acquainted with the origin of Chinese civilization and traditional Chinese philosophical thinking, from the surface to the inside, and had a deeper understanding of China and Gansu.
China is now vigorously in process of the construction of Belt and Road Initiative. School of International Cultural Exchange should closely follow the pace of "double first class" construction of the school, pay close attention to the key links of students' practical teaching, and continuously motivate the foreign students to understand Chinese culture, the history and current situation of Gansu, and continuously improve the education quality of international students.
